Three ingredients, two minutes, done.
Organic blueberries, almond milk, ice. Antioxidant-rich and naturally sweet without adding anything. A quick breakfast, an afternoon reset, or a simple dessert.
Ingredients
- a cup of organic blueberries — fresh or frozen
- a cup of almond milk (See recipe)
- a handful of ice
Method
- Add everything to a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour and drink.
Build It Your Way
- frozen blueberries make it thicker and creamier than fresh
- add a scoop of collagen peptides or protein powder
- half a ripe banana adds creaminess and natural sweetness
- a small drizzle of honey dissolved in a splash of warm water if you want it sweeter
- reduce the almond milk slightly for a thicker texture
- a pinch of cinnamon or a splash of vanilla works well here
Swaps & Notes
- Any unsweetened nut milk works — oat, cashew, coconut all blend well.
- Frozen fruit does the job of both fruit and ice — skip the ice cubes if using frozen blueberries.
- See Homemade Almond Milk if you want to make your own.
