Three ingredients, two minutes, done.

Organic blueberries, almond milk, ice. Antioxidant-rich and naturally sweet without adding anything. A quick breakfast, an afternoon reset, or a simple dessert.

Ingredients

  • a cup of organic blueberries — fresh or frozen
  • a cup of almond milk (See recipe)
  • a handful of ice

Method

  1. Add everything to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour and drink.

Build It Your Way

  • frozen blueberries make it thicker and creamier than fresh
  • add a scoop of collagen peptides or protein powder
  • half a ripe banana adds creaminess and natural sweetness
  • a small drizzle of honey dissolved in a splash of warm water if you want it sweeter
  • reduce the almond milk slightly for a thicker texture
  • a pinch of cinnamon or a splash of vanilla works well here

Swaps & Notes

  • Any unsweetened nut milk works — oat, cashew, coconut all blend well.
  • Frozen fruit does the job of both fruit and ice — skip the ice cubes if using frozen blueberries.
